Over 32 million Chinese mainland residents made overseas trips in the first half of this year.
The Ministry of Public Security in China has revealed the figures are up nearly 20% over last year.
The places most visited by Chinese tourists were Hong Kong, China’s Macao, the Republic of Korea, China’s Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, Japan, the United States, Vietnam and Cambodia.
12.87 million foreigners visited China in the same priod, up 2.5% over the same time frame last year.
The most likely visitors to China were from the Republic of Korea, Japan, Russia, the United States, Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore, Mongolia, the Philippines, and Canada.
