A DREAM to ride a motorcycle alongside the windy Mekong River
inspired a 12-month photographic assignment through Cambodia for Alan
Stuart Watt.
The Sunshine Coast TAFE photography teacher has been captivated by the Asian kingdom since his first visit six years ago.
"I have returned to Cambodia each year since I originally volunteered
at Helping Hands Cambodia, a non-government organisation," he said.
Mr Stuart Watt's project was towards his Research Masters, which had to be a completely original thought or idea.
"So I chose to document daily life in Cambodia because the country is changing so dramatically," he said.
"My shooting script included industrialisation, fashion, technology,
transport, housing and construction, food and agriculture and the
Angkor era."
As part of his Masters Mr Stuart Watt will exhibit his year's work, nearly 500 images.
