Khmer Krom Refugees deport to the third countries

Khmer Krom Refugees who fled from Kampuchea-Krom (South Vietnam) to Bangkok, are recorgnized the status as Refugees from the UNHCR in Bangkok, now they have been leaving to live at the third countries after Ven. Tim Sakhorn former to Sweden.

According to the VOKK (Voice of Kampuchea-Krom Radio) broadcasted that the 5 former Buddhist Monks who were defrocked in Kleang province, now had got the status of Refugees from the UNHCR in Bangkok, Thailand. Until now, there are two Buddhist Monks former had sent to live in Sweden 0n Septeber 02, 2009. They are Mr. Danh Tole, and Mr. Kim Muone.

For another 3 people (Thach Thuong, Ly Hoang, and Ly Suong), they will be leaved soon in this late September.

Furthermore, there are also one family which has 5 members, fled from Cambodia to Bangkok has leaved from Bangkok also.

Mr. Son Savang, a former of President of Friendship Association of Khmer Kampuchea-Krom in Kirivong, Takeo had just leaved to Holand, the Netherland on 09 September, 2009.

According to Khmer Krom Refugees in Bangkok, they said that after these Khmer Krom Refugees (recognized the status) deport to the third countries, they will meet more difficult because the UNHCR has just given a letter to whom be refected which wrote that they (Khmer Krom Refugees) can live in Cambodia and become cambodian people anytime when they arrive Cambodia.
