BANGKOK, Dec 20 (TNA) – A classified government document obtained and released by the anti-government United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship (UDD) was distorted and can be used by the group in aggravating its major rally, planned for next month, Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva warned Sunday.
Mr. Abhisit, who arrived here from Copenhagen early in the day, said during his weekly radio and television address that the distortion of the document was intended to create problems in and outside the country.
The document was released Friday by Jatuporn Prompan, a member of the opposition Puea Thai Party and a key leader of the UDD. Mr Jatuporn claimed it contained measures to threaten the life of fugitive, ousted prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra.
Mr. Abhisit said once again that the document contained only an analysis of ways whichThailand should handle its relations with Cambodia in relation to Mr Thaksin.
