The Prime minister cracked of a lesson of morality towards his family and encouraged it to be more concerned about the Cambodian people.
"If I must leave power, my dear children, nephews and nieces could become the target of attacks", drops Hun Sen in front of the cameras of the chain TVK, during a family meeting in the Intercontinental hotel, on Monday, December 28th, in Phnom Penh.
The Prime minister publicly suggested to his fellows, and more particularly to his nephews, to get involved in humanitarian actions in favour of the Cambodian people to earn his trust. It was pronounced against the culture of impunity in case members of his family would go contrary to law.
The head of government told draw inspiration from bloody retaliation of the red Khmers towards the senior civil servants and the personalities in power, who took place further to the fall of the khmer Republic, in 1975. After the fall of the general Lon Nol, members of his family had been spared for their initiatives in favour of the people.
