Thailand Outlook
The prime minister insists that the Thai nation's honour will be a main concern in the effort to normalize relations between Thailand and Cambodia.
Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva said in his weekly program that Bangkok will consider the kingdom's honour while restoring diplomatic relations with Phnom Penh.
He explained that he will not let the nation's prestige be ruined during the process of resolving ties with Cambodia.
The PM added that he was hurt after a group for the Thai movement worsened the situation.
Abhisit insisted that he is ready to review diplomatic relations with Cambodia if the Hun Sen-led administration addresses the cause of the problems.
He added that he's ready to resume all assistance that Thai dispenses to Cambodia.
The premier claimed that Thailand's action in response to Cambodia's was soft, and Thailand does not interfere with Phnom Penh's internal affairs as claimed by Cambodia.
