The United front for Democracy against Dictatorship (UDD) sent in a lunch of pork noodles and iced coffee to Prime Minister Abhisit Vejajiva at the 11th Infantry Regiment base in Bangkok’s Bang Khen district on Thursday.

Chantana Rotjanapimuk, a red-shirt supporter, told reporters that UDD core leader Natthawut Saikua had assigned her and her boy friend to deliver the lunch and a letter to Mr Abhisit, who is residing inside the military base on Phahon Yothin Road.

The letter, received by an officer on duty at the entrance gate, said the pork noodle was to ensure Mr Abhisit survives to dissolve the House for ordering the killing of unarmed people.

The dish was Chinese egg noodles with red pork and hot gravy - ba mee moo daeng.
