Justice Minister Pirapan Salirathavibhaga Friday denied that the Justice Ministry was dragging feet when verifying the red-shirt people's petition for a royal pardon for former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra.
Pirapan said he had instructed the Corrections Department director-general to speed up the verification process.
"I've been there to see how the officials are working and I have sympathy for them. The lists of the signatories are huge and officials are speeding up the work," Pirapan said.
