IDO Security Expands Presence in Southeast Asia With Multi-Unit Order of MagShoeTM in Vietnam

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - July 13, 2009) - IDO Security, Inc. (OTCBB: IDOI) (www.idosecurityinc.com), developer of the innovative MagShoe™ "shoes-on" weapons metal detection system, today announced an order of nearly two dozen MagShoe devices, placed with a major security products distribution specialist based in Vietnam.

The systems will be shipped to major airports across the region, as part of an initiative to increase travel safety measures. A patented security screening device for the lower body, MagShoe instantly and accurately detects weapons and metal items concealed in footwear -- without requiring the removal of shoes. This increases convenience while enhancing security readings and providing faster, more accurate results.

Magshoe is the missing link in today's high-security environments, filling the void left by traditional handheld and walkthrough security systems, which do not extend to the lower body. The agreement marks a powerful entry for IDO Security into the Vietnamese security market, and expands the presence of MagShoe at venues throughout Southeast Asia. The "shoes-on" weapon detection system is currently used in airports, government agencies, sports arenas, cruise ships and more worldwide. Other installations in the Asian market include India, China and Hong Kong.

"Safety continues to be top-of-mind for the global travel industry, especially for the airports in Vietnam and around the world who seek to provide millions of travelers with the highest levels of security," said Dan Werber, International Marketing Manager of IDO Security. "We are proud to have the opportunity to partner with one of the region's top distributors of security products to make MagShoe available throughout the region."
