“Hearts Without Boundaries is a group of amazing volunteers that donate their time, money and energy to help impoverished people in Cambodia and surrounding countries in Southeast Asia”, says Dr. Michael Omidi, co-founder of No More Poverty. “ No More Poverty is proud to support Hearts Without Boundaries in their vital and worthy humanitarian efforts.”
Hearts Without Boundaries (http://www.heartswithoutboundaries.org) has successfully provided thousands of dollars of aid and supplies to Cambodia’s desperate poor. The organization works to improve and expand medical services, schools and orphanages. For every humanitarian operation, all volunteers pay their own travel expenses and transport supplies and equipment themselves.
Hearts Without Boundaries was founded by Peter Chhun, who, although born in a Cambodian farming village with no electricity or running water system, went on to become an Emmy Award-winning producer for the NBC television network. As a member of the Cambodian-American community, he works with numerous charities assisting the Cambodian and American Cambodia community.
No More Poverty (http://www.nmp.org) is a not-for-profit charity organization (with a pending 501(c)3 application) founded by brothers Dr. Michael Omidi and Julian Omidi. The organization seeks to end poverty at home and abroad by supporting the efforts of like-minded charities and agencies. Current efforts are focused on increasing awareness of and donations to charities already doing great work to address poverty and its staggering effects throughout the world. The plan is to expand our activities to include fostering business development and job creation in disenfranchised areas.
