The nephew of Cambodia's Prime Minister has denied all allegations that
he is involved in a heroin trafficking and money laundering syndicate
targeting Australia.
Hun To has told Radio Australia's Khmer
Service that he has engaged a lawyer to take legal action against the
publisher of The Age newspaper for allegations it published earlier
this year.
The Melbourne-based newspaper reported in March that
the plan to arrest Hun To in Australia was thwarted because his
application for a visa was denied by the Australian embassy in Phnom
Penh.
Hun To says he is now in Australia to clear his name.
He says if he has done anything wrong, he wouldn't have been granted a visa to travel to Australia.
