From your coverage of the International Court of Justice ruling on the border dispute, I fail to understand why this will affect voting for the Democrats.
The yellow shirts already believe that the government has been backward in coming forward, and call for "no" votes. The border dispute was exacerbated by the memorandum signed by the antecedent of Pheu Thai. The owner of Pheu Thai is a personal chum of Hun Sen and was supportive of Cambodia while the dispute was running.
Losing a few old stones and a few acres of land is one thing. The loss of life was not worth it. Losing the capital's centre to a bunch of thugs who squandered more lives is something different. I do not believe that any party has taken a rational approach to the border situation. Logically one would not expect the country to vote on the basis of a squabble with a friendly country without, but on the basis of the enemy within.
