A fair of high-quality Vietnamese goods held in An Giang province bordering Cambodia has been visited by more than 300,000 shoppers and earned a total revenue of over VND32 billion.
The six-day fair, which concluded on March 14, helped connect Vietnamese businesses and provide more access to the Cambodian market. The fair saw the establishment of 43 new points of distribution and agents as well as the signing of 20 memorandums-of-understanding and 16 contracts.
To mark its 10th birthday, the 2010 fair was held on a large scale with many activities and special programmes targeting consumers and small traders in remote areas and such demographic groups as students.
