Vietnamese Ambassador to Cambodia Ngo Anh Dung has presented Vietnam’s schedule of major political events for 2010 to other ambassadors to Cambodia and representatives from Cambodia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
Events previewed at a reception given on March 3 are the 1,000th anniversary of Hanoi, the 65th National Day celebration, the 35th anniversary of Liberation Day, and Vietnam’s ASEAN chairmanship.
Mr. Dung said Vietnam, as the ASEAN chair, will closely cooperate with other members to promote solidarity among ASEAN countries in order to establish a united community and deal with global challenges.
The Ambassador invited the other embassies and international organizations to a regional tourism seminar to be hosted by his embassy in May.
