RIYADH — King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, is to host 1,400 pilgrims from around the globe, said Sheikh Saleh Bin Abdul Aziz Aal Al-Sheikh, Minister of Islamic Affairs.
He said the invited pilgrims are from Indonesia, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Turkey, Thailand, Philippines, Cambodia, Kazakhstan, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Nepal, Afghanistan, Vietnam, Malaysia, Russia, Hong Kong, Mongolia, Singapore, Myanmar, Japan, Brunei, Guinea, South Korea, Maldives Islands, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, South Sudan and other African countries.
So far 18,000 Muslims from around the globe have performed Haj during the past years as guests of King Abdullah. — SG/SPA __
