CACJE: Declaration

“For the sake of Cambodia, New Youth Generation with new ideas must be ready to select new political leaders for a new political regime”.

For once in the millennium, today, Cambodian Action Committee for Justice and Equity (CACJE) proclaims today as the day where all Cambodian political forces were unified for the sake of Cambodian New Generation with new ideas in order to select new political leaders for a new political regime for Khmer Nation.

Ta Trasak Paem’s coup had ended the lineage of Varaman Kings, the kings who built Angkor’s empire and stone temples Prasat that were the famous part of Khmer history. What was followed the Ta Trasak Paem’s coup was the cortege of civil wars, wars of succession to the crown and annexionist and genocidal wars perpetrated by Youn (Vietnam) and Siam against Cambodian people. The succession wars to the crown were very fatal because very often they were ended up by the cessation of Khmer territories to Yuon or Siam in order to get crowned.

Now, New Generation Youth (NGY) has a new choice, by learning from historical experience. For the sake of New Cambodia, NGY must lead. New Cambodia needs new leadership and new political regime. To reach this aim, New Generation Youth must lead.

For this sole political purpose, for the sake of Cambodia, and for the union of all Cambodian political movements, CACJE proclaims the creation of KHMER POWER Movement in order to assure the social justice and equity and defend Cambodia integrity and national patrimony and combat against any aggression that intended to eliminate Khmer race.

During the last 25 months (August 20, 2007 to September 9, 2009), CACJE had successful convinced the world and informed them of what Cambodian people really wants and reveals to Cambodian people what Hun Sen government and Cambodian politicians hide and tried to hide to them.

CACJE had successfully influenced the ECCC (Khmer Rouge Tribunal) to submit six more people for the investigation and prosecution in addition to the already jailed five.

The ECCC must unearth the truth and not burry it. The ECCC must investigate or prosecute Samdech Norodom Sihanouk, Heng Samrin, Chea Sim, Hun Sen, Hor Nam Hong and Keat Chhon as witnesses, criminals or victims.
