James Heal’s first display in Cambodia a success

September 11, 2012 (Cambodia)

James Heal exhibited in Cambodia for the first time last month - at the Cambodia International Machinery Industrial Fair (CIMIF).
Held between 17th and 20th August at the Diamond Island Convention and Exhibition Center in Phnom Penh, the exhibition showcased companies associated with the textile and garment industry from around the world.

Exhibiting with James Heal were Thach Anh Vang Company Limited - exclusive James Heal agents in Vietnam and Cambodia.

James Heal displayed information and products from the four divisions - precision Testing Instruments, high quality Test Materials, global UKAS accredited Service and Calibration and expert Technical Assistance. International Sales Manager Simon Dakin, who represented James Heal at the event, says:

'We are excited about the prospects Cambodia has to offer. The exhibition surpassed our expectations in terms of visitors, and we met with a number of existing and potential customers. Garment manufacturing is beginning to have a strong presence in the country, and we look forward to working with our agents Thach Anh Vang to explore the opportunities in this emerging market. We also look forward to attending the next CIMIF.'

James Heal will next be exhibiting at:
- Igatex, Lahore 11-14 October 2012
- ITME, Mumbai 2-7 December 2012

James Heal was established in 1872 and is a family-owned and run testing instrument and test materials manufacturer, operating from a multi-storey, former textile mill, in Halifax (just behind Dean Clough), which dates back to the 1850s.
